Jagran Lakecity University aka JLU is a private university based in my hometown of Bhopal, India.
It is one of the largest in the country and is known for its pristine campuses, mesmerizing events and a renowned faculty of journalism.

I joined the communications team of the university as a full time Content Writer in December 2020 and later took on the Content Manager responsibilities.This was a pivotal role for my career in Marketing and Communications. I polished my persuasive writing and learned web-copywriting, UI/UX, Public Relations, nuances of design and basics of video editing.

The Learning

Marketing in the education sector demands precision storytelling and strategic budget allocation. I mastered the art of balancing creativity with cost efficiency, proving that impactful results don’t always require limitless resources—but smart execution does.

The most important learning during my tenure with JLU was about the importance of a good team.
