Based in Toronto, I am currently a Freelance Marketing and Communications Specialist, serving clients in North America, Dubai and India. 

My qualifications in Economics & Finance and experience in Marketing, make FINANCIAL MARKETING a sweet spot for me where I get to combine both.

I take on Marketing, Branding, Communications, and Web Design projects in freelance capacity for clients all over the world.

I grew up and studied in India, spent an year in Russia, and now live and work in Canada and USA since 2022.

I like to Read extensively, am a Whisk(e)y connoisseur, a self taught Chef and will be a Billionaire before I turn 35.

On a Journey of
lifelong learning

My journey in Marketing began in 2018 when I started handling Social Media for brands, focusing on simple postings and writing generic captions. I was hooked on the idea of building brands through Storytelling and being able to reach millions of people and increase revenue.

Little did I know that I was dabbling in Digital Marketing and will have career in it.

Being good with words, I tried my hand at Content Writing, and it brought new opportunities for me. The most logical next step was Copywriting, and I realized that there is a huge demand for words that sell.

I can confidently say that learning no other skill has given me better returns than Copywriting.

It made me a better Marketing Strategist as I could put my ideas across more succinctly.

Later in my career, I got a chance to lead a team of creatives and oversaw Communications and Branding for companies in varied niches. This experience also opened the world of Web Design and UI/UX to me. I was totally mesmerized by the idea of creating something so useful that it can be accessed all over the world through Search Engine Optimization.

I taught myself Web- Development and within weeks was making fully functional complex websites, which brought in new leads. On the other hand, Creating Content for social media helped me understand algorithms and polished my Graphic Design and Video Editing skills.

I take pride in creating result-driven campaigns and these results have to be tracked. I naturally recognized the vital role of data, which guided my way into Data Analytics.

Recently in my career, some of my clients requested for an automated mechanism that will build their communities and retarget customers. This is when I included Email Marketing in my services and sent out millions of emails for brand awareness, new product launches, discounts, and weekly newsletters.

While working with some of the most awesome clients, sometimes I have too much on my plate and that risks the quality of my results. So in these situations, I outsource and delegate some tasks to very competent professionals with whom I have worked in the past.

Little did I know, that in doing so I was already following all the basic principles of Project Management, and I am now pursuing a professional certification in it.

Within six years of starting in the marketing industry, I worked for dozens of clients on every continent, created hundreds of campaigns, reached thousands of customers, and generated millions of dollars for brands.

My journey has been one of incremental improvements on the job, self-learning through books & videos, and continuous research & testing—all to deliver better results for clients and to make myself better every day.

My Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management, coupled with one Diploma in Psychology and another Diploma in Marketing, puts me at a unique advantage to understand the customer needs and deliver them economically. I am a Financial Markets Expert, certified by the NSE and also got myself a Level 2 Certificate in Spirits, from WSET. 

I have worked in education, finance, agencies, non-profit, building materials, and SAAS industries. I am deeply passionate about the Financial Services and Alcoholic Beverages ( products) industries and constantly keep upskilling myself in these, through courses and certifications.

Indeed, I am a jack of all trades and master of some, or as I like to say, I am a “ONE-PERSON MARKETING UNIT”.

When I am not marketing, I like to read, cook, collect quotes, or simply observe the world and its follies.
